Community Involvement & Events in Tallahassee, FL | Coldwell Banker Hartung, Inc., REALTORS

Community Events

At Coldwell Banker Hartung we believe that nothing is more important than our community. Our Tallahassee Real Estate Agents come from different backgrounds and cultures and enjoy coming together as a family to serve the Tallahassee community. In the past we've been able to play a significant role in making Tallahassee and Leon County a desirable place to live and work.

We are proud to participate in an assortment of community events, volunteer programs, organizations and fundraisers all over the Big Bend in order to give back to the place we all call home.

Fighting for Izzy

Fighting for Izzy

Israelle (Izzy) Mattocks was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma when she was just 3 years old. She is now 13 and currently on her sixth relapse with the disease that has spread through most of her bones.

There is no known cure.

In January 2021, she was taken off treatment and decided to make one last wish... a month-long stay at the beach.

One of Coldwell Banker Hartung’s clients, Nicki West, found out about the story and offered up her home on St. George Island. Then, word got out and the community took over…

From raising $1,000 in gas cards to make the trip, to a hot air balloon ride, to a police escort to the beach house, to a real live llama gram, Coldwell Banker Hartung agents, St. George Island law enforcement, local residents and community leaders stepped up in every way to make Izzy’s dream of the beach the most memorable trip of her life.

We have been living in a pandemic for a year now. There has been so much anger, negativity and hostility. But at times like these, where we all come together as a community to uplift a family who lives halfway across the country, we are reminded that there is good, and hope, and joy in this world.

With that, we say thank you... to our agents (in particular Lisa Montgomery-Calvert), our clients, especially Nicki West, and our friends, family & business leaders throughout the Tallahassee and St. George area.
