Years ago, Waverly Hills was once a 400-acre hunting and fishing plantation. Now as a neighborhood, residents appreciate the beauty that surrounds them... sprawling live oaks draped with Spanish moss, bubbling streams, and, at the entrance, the Waverly Pond water feature - complete with a gazebo, porch swing, and a bridge over the water. The Waverly Hills neighborhood is the epitome of Southern charm.

The neighborhood has an active homeowners association, with events and get-togethers throughout the year, including potlucks, ice cream socials, and even the occasional movie night. Residents also get to take advantage of the Little Free Library, where people can trade books using the honor system.
