Using data pulled from theThomas County Board of Tax Assessors website, in Q4 of 2021, 117 residential homes sold in the county. The average sales price was $277,062, with the most expensive home selling for $2.1M in November 2021. The average square feet of homes sold during this time period was 1,849 sq. ft., with an average price per square foot of $143.

 

The average year home were built was 1984, with the oldest home that sold having been built in 1894, and the newest in 2021. In terms of neighborhoods, 15 homes sold in the Madison Grove subdivision during Q4.

 

In Q1 of 2022, 163 homes sold in the county, which is 39% more than Q4 of 2021. The average sales price dropped a bit, however, to $257,304. This quarter, the most expensive listing sold for $2 million, while the least expensive listing was a 900 sq. ft. single family home that sold for $7,000.

 

In Q2 of 2022, 131 homes sold in the county, which is up from Q4 of 2021 but down from Q1 of 2022. The average sales price increased by a modest 4.27% from the previous quarter, however.
